He holds her
On the edges of oblivion
Tears streaming down his words
They are muted and cracking
Like the waves before him
Incessantly tossing and turning
They are as lifeless as his ambition
and he is quiet.
He can't take the old sorrow

She closes his eyes
and in doing so,
kisses him with passion,
salt lingering in the corners of her mouth
there is no kiss waiting for him
Just her embrace
She can’t think to revive him
He can’t take the old sorrow.

He always said he liked to feel vulnerable
like a child fucked in the closet
like a child licking away the cum
like a lover without a heart
She always said she liked to feel vulnerable
like a princess without a corset
like a Queen without sums
like the fucker tearing him apart.

Old Sorrow, you are my companion
Watch with me as the ocean dies
Old Sorrow, you are my companion
Console me her smile lies

She always said
“I so love you”
He always said
“I believe you.”
She always said
“I so love you”
And he always said
“Then please kill me.”

Wow.... I love it. I wish that I could write like that. This is one of your best ones, if you ask me...

It's really intense, I like how there's really not a certain structure. (Or at least seems like there isn't)

Perhaps I'm always far too hard on myself over the things that turn out to be good... haha. Thank you for the nice comments :3

WOAH! I didn't write it from his perspective... oh, I feel dirty. I'm a dirty old man. Well, a handsome, dirty old European man, so it's not quite so bad. But now that you've said that, I want to re-read it. Haha.

You like that?... The first stanza sort of has structure... and I sort of liked that, like he himself is trying so hard to hang on to some form of structure, but she just doesn't care, thus the disorder. Right. I'll keep telling myself that, haha.

I like this one just as much as I like all your other ones. I just like the concept on this one a bit more maybe. It's very well written, you shouldn't be so good at this.
